کامپیوتر چیست‌ ؟

به‌ ماشینی‌ اطلاق‌ می‌شود که‌ دارای‌ حافظه‌ بوده‌ و قابل‌ برنامه‌ ریزی‌ ،ورودی‌ اطلاعات‌عدد و غیر عددد عملیات‌ منطقی‌ و ریاضی‌ انجام‌ می‌دهد.

پس‌ به‌ هر ماشینی‌ که‌ حافظه‌ داشته‌ باشد و روی‌ اطلاعات‌ عددی‌ و غیر عددی‌عملیات‌ داشته‌ باشد کامپیوتر می‌گویند.

مزایای‌ کامپیوتر نسبت‌ به‌ انسان‌:

- سرعت‌ و دقت‌ در انجام‌ محاسبات‌

- نگهداری‌ انبوهی‌ از اطلاعات‌ در فضای‌ کم‌ و حجم‌ محدود

- خستگی‌ ناپذیری‌

- آزاد ساختن‌ نیروی‌ انسانی‌

تنها مزیت‌ انسان‌ نسبت‌ به‌ کامپیوتر خلاقیت‌ و نوآوری‌ می‌باشد.

کار برد کامپیوتر در جامعه:

1- تجارت‌ و مراکز بانکها

2- مراکز علمی‌ و دانشگاهی‌

از نظر اندازه‌ کامپیوترها به‌ چند دسته‌ تقسیم‌ می‌شوند:

1- ابر کامپیوترها یا سوپرکامپیوترهامانند CRA4- CRA1

2- کامپیوترهای‌ بزرک‌ یا Mian Freame

3- کامپیوتر(ming)Mian در منازل‌ یا در محل‌های‌ کار و یا در بازارشامل‌
