Zobair M. Younossi, MD, MPH, FACG, FACP, is Executive Director of Research
for Inova Health System and Executive Director of the Center for Liver Diseases
at Inova Fairfax Hospital, Falls Church, VA. He is also Professor of Medicine,
Virginia Commonwealth University, Inova Campus and Affiliate Professor of
Biomedical Sciences at George Mason University. Dr. Younossi has authored
more than 150 articles and presented more than 150 abstracts at international
meetings. He sits on multiple local and national committees and has served on
the editorial boards of Hepatology and World Journal of Gastroenterology and as
an associate editor of Liver International and Evidence-Based Gastroenterology.
Over the past decade, Dr. Younossi has been actively involved with the American
Liver Foundation. He is a member of the American Association for the Study
of Liver Disease, American College of Gastroenterology, and the American Gastroenterological
Association.
