A Compact Monople UWB Antenna With Inverted D-Shape Slots For Band Rejection
A compact monopole microstrip notched ultrawideband (UWB) with rotated D-shape slots in the patch is presented. By introducing a new inverted D-shaped notch in the radiating plane, band-notch which is about 5.14 to 6 GHz and 6.21 to 8.66 GHz and 6.21 to 8.66 GHz are achieved. Two novel compact antennas for covering the GSM900, GSM1800, WLAN (2400MHz to 2484MHz), Bluetooth (2402MHz to 2483.5MHz) and ISM (2450MHz) bands are presented. Two structures called Folded Inverted Conformal Antenna (FICA).
