A Compact Monople UWB Antenna With Inverted D-Shape Slots For Band Rejection

A compact monopole microstrip notched ultrawideband (UWB) with rotated D-shape slots in the patch is presented. By introducing a new inverted D-shaped notch in the radiating plane, band-notch which is about 5.14 to 6 GHz and 6.21 to 8.66 GHz and 6.21 to 8.66 GHz are achieved.
