Nowadays, the classification of human skin as a preprocessor has been proposed in the majority of processing systems on different parts of the human skin, such as face detection, face tracking and content-based retrieval of images, pornography videos and human-computer interface systems (HCI). One main challenge to this area is the diversity of color skin in different races, the existence of skin-like areas in imaging scene, illumination intensity changes and noise in image. In this design, the ...
This study was carried out to evaluate the genetic diversity and relationship between different rice populations (Local, Import amp; Breeding rice populations) with 25 microsatellite loci. The results revealed that all the primers showed polymorphism among the rice populations. A total of 164 alleles were detected. The number of alleles per marker ranged from 3 to 14 with an average of 6.56 alleles per locus. Result from UPGMA analysis clustered the different rice populations into Local, and ...
Active screen plasma nitriding (ASPN) is an emerging surface engineering technology that offers many advantages over the conventional plasma nitriding (CPN). In this research aimed to investigate the nitride coating FeN or AlN created on Al1050 by using in conventional plasma nitriding and active screen plasma nitriding. At first the rectangular cube-shaped samples with dimensions, 20 times; 20 times; 5 mm3 prepared. Then under atmosphere %20 H2-%80 N2, at 500 deg;C, 80% duty cycle and the ...
In this method to amounting of the trace little amount of Mo (II) ions in aqueos Samples by Nano Polyhydroxybutyrate-b-polydimethyl siloxane which in order to improve the performance of extraction and preconcentration was used. Amounting of the ions density in solution was performed by the method of flame atomic absorption spectrometry. The effective parameters on extraction such as: effect of pH, the amount and eluent solvent, time of extraction and effect of other cation were optimized. ...
In this paper , the Combined Laplace Transform- homotopy perturbation Method is used to solve nthorder integro-differential equations . The results show that the method is very simple and effective.Comparisonn with exact solution shows that the method is very effective and convenient for solvingintegral equations. ...
In this paper, a combined approach to damage diagnosis of systems is proposed. The intention is to identify thenatural frequencies and the presence of damage. In a first step, the basic concept of the Hilbert HuangTransform is presented where the empirical mode decomposition is applied on the signal using a sifting processto obtain intrinsic mode functions exhibiting monocomponent behavior. In the next step, the Hilbert Transform isused to identify the frequencies from the well behaved ...
The detection of damage in reinforced concrete bridge using vibration characteristics has been the topic of much research in the last two decades. Since reinforced concrete structures are nonlinear in behaviour, even with relatively low levels of damage, it is difficult to make a reliable estimate on the modal properties for use in the damage detection/health monitoring. The Hilbert-Huang transform (HHT) comprises the empirical mode decomposition (EMP) of the data and performing the Hilbert ...
A new indicator is proposed to facilitate the detection of newly induced damage in reinforced concrete(RC) beams, based on the transient characteristics of nonlinear vibration. Two full-scale RC beams, one reinforced with externally bonded fiber-reinforced-polymer sheets, are tested to develop theproposed damage indicator. Both beams are statically and dynamically loaded to correlate thedynamic characteristics of the beams to the damage level. A phenomenological model is developedto simulate the ...
As novel construction materials become more economically and technically available throughout theglobe, the structures become more complex. Therefore, an unexpected failure of these structures causescatastrophic economical and fatal losses. Over the past decades, a number of vibration based damagedetection techniques have been developed to avoid unexpected failure in structures. These damagedetection methods identify presence, location and magnitude of developed damage in the ...
