Three kinds of functionally graded tube using A390 alloy at various rotation speeds 400,700 and 1000 rpm with thickness of 2cm were produced by horizontal centrifugal casting, and their microstructure and mechanical properties were investigated and compared. FREQUENCY AND DAMPING EVOLUTION DURING EXPERIMENTAL SEISMIC RESPONSE OF CIVIL ENGINEERING STRUCTURES

The results of the seismic tests on several reinforced-concrete shear walls and a four-storey frame are analysed in this paper. Each specimen was submitted to the action of a horizontal accelerogram, with successive growing amplitudes, using the pseudodynamic method.
