Voltage Effect on the Optical Properties of Liquid Photonic Crystal Fiber

The parametric performance of the photonic crystal fiber (PCF) infiltrated by LC 5CB is studied under the voltage variations. The COMSOL and MATLAB softwares have been used to study the performance of PCF under the variations of optical parameters including the effective refractive index, the normalized frequency, the effective mode area, numerical aperture and waveguide dispersion.
